Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours; no weekends or on-call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders to develop personalized plans of care
  • Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled treatment that is medically necessary for each patient's recovery
  • Deliver therapeutic activities, exercises, ADL retraining, and modalities as part of the rehab plan
  • Track patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document outcomes in the clinical record
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Prepare clear discharge summaries and maintain accurate electronic documentation
  • Participate in care conferences and team meetings to advocate for your patients
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students when needed
  • Follow NBCOT and Oklahoma state regulations with professionalism and ethical integrity

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma (at time of submission)
  • New graduates welcome with Level II fieldwork experience
  • Skills checklist completed within the last year
  • Resume ready for submission

  • Patient evaluation and treatment planning
  • ADL training and rehabilitation techniques
  • Standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
  • Electronic documentation systems
  • Knowledge of NBCOT and state practice regulations
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
