Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, and blood products accurately and safely
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and collaborate with providers to ensure timely interventions
• Document all care in Cerner EHR and use Care Compass to organize tasks and education
• Provide patients and families with education on disease processes, medications, pain management, and discharge planning
• Hand off care using SBAR communication to ensure smooth, continuous care
• Serve as a mentor to fellow nursing staff and contribute to a culture of learning

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience
• You have previous traveler experience and are ready to hit the ground running
• You are a graduate of an accredited RN program
• You hold an active Colorado RN license or are able to obtain one in good standing
• You carry current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or can complete them within 3 months)
• You are comfortable with Cerner EHR and have solid basic computer skills
