Shift Type: 10-hour day shifts with varied start times (6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 7:30 AM); required call 3 days/month (weeknights 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM and 24/7 on weekends)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients across all floors, in the radiology department, and during surgery
• Operate imaging equipment including GE systems, Carestream portables, OEC C-Arms, and O Arm
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure accurate imaging and outstanding patient care
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe healing environment
• Participate in call rotation to provide after-hours imaging coverage when needed

Qualifications

• Must hold current BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Active California Fluoroscopy permit and California radiology license required
• Minimum 2 years of X-ray experience required
• Experience with GE, R&F, Carestream portables, OEC C-Arms, and O Arm preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in X-ray and general radiology
• Comfortable using Cerner for charting
• Familiarity with imaging equipment like GE, Carestream, OEC C-Arms, and O Arm
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
