Shift Type: Per Diem, flexible 8.5-hour shifts

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Operate radiologic equipment accurately while following all safety protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
- Maintain precise patient records and imaging documentation
- Assist radiologists during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
- Current Virginia state radiology license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
- A genuine passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and current techniques
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and protocols
- Excellent patient positioning skills to produce high-quality images
- Clear and compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment
