Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
• Operate radiologic equipment accurately while following all safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Maintain precise patient records and imaging documentation
• Assist radiologists during procedures and ensure a smooth workflow

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
• Current Virginia state radiology license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment
• A genuine passion for patient-centered care and teamwork

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and current techniques
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and protocols
• Excellent patient positioning skills to produce high-quality images
• Clear and compassionate communication with patients and colleagues
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment
