Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning
• Fabricate specialized treatment aids in accordance with physician prescriptions
• Provide age-appropriate care and assess each patient's status to ensure the best outcomes
• Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and use ARIA EMR proficiently
• Treat 25-30 patients per day using advanced modalities like 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons
• Set up and treat all treatment sites as part of a comprehensive cancer center

Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T)
• Current BLS certification, along with ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of imaging technology experience
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA EMR

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep knowledge of radiation therapy principles and techniques
• Skilled in treatment planning and simulation
• Experience with 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electron therapy
• Comfortable using Epic and ARIA EMR systems
• Strong patient care and communication abilities
