CT/X-Ray Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Arcata, California
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with evening and weekend on-call rotation; 36 guaranteed hours per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT, X-Ray, and fluoroscopy imaging procedures to support accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to ensure optimal image quality and patient care
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment while following strict radiation safety protocols
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout their imaging experience
- Participate in on-call rotations to deliver timely imaging services during evenings and weekends
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with facility standards
Qualifications
- Active California CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) certificate
- Current Fluoroscopy certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of CT experience
- Must hold a currently active state license
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations for evenings and weekends
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in CT, X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy imaging techniques
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning standards
- Skill in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate image capture and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
