Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Assist the dental team in ensuring a comfortable patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license for Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Skilled in taking and processing radiographs
• Ability to educate patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and infection control practices
