Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and balance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment goals as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers individuals on their road to recovery
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Mexico or willingness to obtain one
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience in outpatient or acute care physical therapy is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and time management skills
- Must have a current NM caregivers account or be able to create one (facility requirement)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy assessment tools and therapeutic interventions
- Skill in developing and implementing individualized exercise programs
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Ability to operate physical therapy equipment and modalities safely
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members
- Understanding of patient safety standards and infection control protocols
