Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures such as braces placement, adjustments, and removals
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Take dental X-rays and impressions to support treatment planning
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and proper oral hygiene
• Manage and update patient records using Denticon software
• Provide comforting and compassionate care to every patient

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Previous experience in orthodontic assisting is highly valued
• Proficiency with Denticon software to streamline daily tasks
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials
• Comfort using dental practice management software like Denticon
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records
