Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays, providing essential diagnostic images
• Educate young patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and support front office duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current dental assistant certification or license as required by the state of Wisconsin
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in dental software for record keeping
• Excellent patient care skills, especially with children
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
