Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings and prophylaxis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
• Document patient treatments and update health histories
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain a sterile, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Deliver compassionate care that keeps patients comfortable and informed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-centered approach with a focus on quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Efficient time management for half-hour appointment slots
• Proficiency with dental charting and recordkeeping
• Excellent patient education and chairside manner
