Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures with precision and care
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring a safe environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to support diagnostics
• Provide compassionate patient care and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation with meticulous attention
• Manage surgical supplies and inventory to keep procedures running smoothly

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent hands-on experience
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography (X-ray) certification
• Experience in oral surgery or surgical dental assisting is a plus
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and surgical procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions
• Ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs and act proactively
• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
