Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and preventative treatments
• Educate patients on oral health and proper hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging
• Document patient care and update health records accurately
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a dental practice is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
• Strong understanding of oral health and preventive care
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a gentle touch
• Familiarity with dental software for patient records
