Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments with a warm and reassuring approach
• Assist the orthodontist during procedures to ensure smooth and efficient appointments
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
• Take dental radiographs and impressions accurately
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage patient records and coordinate scheduling to keep things running smoothly

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or orthodontic assisting certification required
• Current Maryland Dental Assistant licensure or registration
• Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
