Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
• Assist orthodontists during procedures, handing instruments and anticipating needs
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment to keep the practice running smoothly

Qualifications

• Valid orthodontic certification (required)
• Dental Assisting certification or registration (preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with patients
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
