Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat patients with a warm, reassuring smile
• Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms and instruments
• Assist the hygienist and dentist chairside throughout appointments
• Keep instruments sterile and treatment areas spotless and organized
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their visit
• Confirm appointments and keep the day flowing smoothly for everyone

Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus
• Comfortable assisting chairside and preparing treatment rooms
• Strong attention to detail when it comes to sterilization and safety
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to jump in on short notice
• A genuine desire to make patients feel cared for
• Must be available to work the scheduled shift in Springfield, VA

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and chairside assisting basics
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization practices
• Great communication skills with patients and teammates
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a busy practice
• Team player mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude
