Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to keep every appointment running smoothly
• Assist the orthodontist during braces and Invisalign procedures with precision and care
• Take dental radiographs and intraoral scans as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care to support great outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and keep supplies well stocked
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable before treatment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or state licensure as required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Hands-on experience with orthodontics including braces and Invisalign
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced dental office
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures including braces and Invisalign
• Dental terminology and chairside assisting
• Radiography and intraoral scanning
• Infection control and sterilization
• Patient education and rapport-building
• Electronic health records and scheduling software
