Shift Type: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM (single-day assignment on 2026-10-05)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare orthodontic appliances, bands, brackets, and other materials for procedures.
- Take dental X-rays and impressions, and help create treatment plans.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent.
- Maryland state dental assistant license or permit as required.
- Experience as an orthodontic assistant is a plus.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques.
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and dental terminology.
- Proficiency in taking impressions and digital X-rays.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for patient records.
