Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment charts
• Ensure a clean, welcoming atmosphere in the treatment area

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
• Current X-ray certification for dental radiography
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Team collaboration and adaptability
