Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout visits
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage patient records using Denticon software
• Provide chairside assistance for braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent credential
• Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software like Denticon
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Skills in dental radiography and X-ray safety
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar software
• Excellent patient interaction and empathy
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
