Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings, polishings, and fluoride treatments
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on best practices for oral health and prevention
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Maintain a sterile and organized treatment environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• CPR/BLS certification (required)
• New graduates welcome - no minimum experience needed
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene practices and instrumentation
• Familiarity with dental x-ray techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization standards
• Ability to build rapport with patients and explain oral health concepts clearly
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems
