Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral health, prevention, and at-home care
• Collaborate with the dentist to create personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Strong infection control and sterilization practices
• Patient education techniques that promote good oral health
• Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
