Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
• Take dental impressions and digital scans for braces and Invisalign fittings
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans with precision and care
• Support the dental team by anticipating needs and managing supplies

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (e.g., CDA or DANB) required
• X-ray certification and experience taking panoramic and cephalometric images
• Previous experience in orthodontics, including braces and Invisalign, is highly preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Skilled in taking and processing dental radiographs
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
