Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with procedures and treatments
• Prepare patients for their appointments and ensure comfort
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Maryland is a plus
• Experience in orthodontics preferred but not required
• Current X-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for delivering excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
