Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental prophylaxis and cleanings to keep patients smiling bright
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings with care
• Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring safety protocols
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Maintain a sterile, organized environment in the operatory
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in dental hygiene procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control
• Skill in dental radiography and safety
• Attention to detail and strong documentation practices
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Effective time management and adaptability
