Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for each treatment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Manage supply inventory and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid orthodontic certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Prior experience as a dental assistant in an orthodontic setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficient in dental radiography and safety protocols
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
