Shift Type: Evening / Night, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (evening/night coverage; specific days scheduled by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complex clinical laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology accurately and efficiently
Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols
Troubleshoot and resolve analytical and instrumentation issues when they arise
Document results, quality control, and maintenance activities clearly and thoroughly
Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient results
Participate in process improvement efforts to enhance lab operations and patient care

Qualifications

Current and active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
Demonstrated experience performing testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology
Proven ability to follow quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

General laboratory procedures in chemistry and hematology
Blood bank testing and safety practices
Microbiology specimen processing and analysis
Quality control principles and documentation
Laboratory safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Instrument operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
