Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, communicating changes to the nursing team
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement personalized care plans
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients and families on care instructions and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (or compact where applicable)
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and dosage calculation
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
