Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes; report concerns to nursing staff
• Support residents' mobility and positioning, including transferring and turning, to ensure comfort and safety
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and families, creating a warm and welcoming environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment per facility policies
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure each resident's individual care plan is followed

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred, or ability to obtain
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others
• Ability to pass background check and comply with facility requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
