Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to maintain resident safety and comfort
- Take and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Support residents with meals and hydration, monitoring intake as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
- Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
- Must be reliable and able to adapt to changing daily needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care techniques and activities of daily living
- Skills in vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Understanding of residents' rights and HIPAA privacy rules
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records
