Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour per diem shifts, variable times (day/evening/night) and days as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Take and record vital signs, and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring proper nutrition and comfort
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (or obtainable)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand, lift, and assist with resident transfers
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Must pass background check and health screening
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident rights and HIPAA privacy rules
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Basic clinical skills including vital signs and infection control
- Effective communication with team members and residents
- Problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
