Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
• Utilize specialized L&D nursing knowledge to provide care appropriate to patients' physical and developmental ages
• Direct and supervise other team members delivering nursing services
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
• Active Maryland RN license (or ability to obtain) with Nursys verification within 30 days
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• EFM and NIHSS certifications required, or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of offer
• COVID-19 vaccination (state record) required - declinations not approved
• Must accept facility schedule; no scheduling restrictions
• 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months and 1 from the last 12 months
• L&D-specific skills checklist required
