Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform scrub role for interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist during left heart angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions, pacemaker implants, ports, drains, AAA, and STEMI cases
• Collaborate with the circulating RN and recording technologist to maintain efficient patient flow and safety
• Operate and maintain GE cath lab equipment and document procedures in the Merge system
• Rotate through EP and IR cases when qualified
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to support emergency procedures

Qualifications

• AART or RCIS certification with interventional cath lab experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience
• Experience in interventional radiology and electrophysiology is a bonus
• Ability to scrub a wide range of cardiac and vascular procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong scrub technique in interventional cardiology and radiology
• Working knowledge of GE cath lab equipment and Merge documentation
• Understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Flexibility for on-call and rotating assignments
