Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vitals throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with vascular and scrubbing techniques as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency procedures during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IR experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Vascular & scrubbing experience preferred
• NIH Certification
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island or compact state
