Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to geriatric residents
• Help residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and support their emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented exemption
• Ability to provide a state or federal issued ID for facility entry
• Passion for working with elderly residents
• Ability to pass a background check

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team

• Good time management and organizational skills
