Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Provide compassionate care to elderly patients ensuring their comfort and dignity
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support mobility and transfers using proper techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification in Maryland required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in geriatric care is a plus but not required
• Must be compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when caring for elderly patients
• Basic medical knowledge and vital signs monitoring
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Strong team player with attention to detail
• Adaptability to changing resident needs
