Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to remove plaque and tartar
• Take and develop dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient dental histories and treatment plans
• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental cleaning techniques and scaling
• Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
