Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy with precision and care
• Take and process dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Prior experience in a dental office preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and best practices
• Proficiency with dental software and digital x-ray systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to infection control standards
