Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral health assessments
• Capture and develop dental X-rays with precision
• Collaborate with the dentist to provide exceptional patient care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain meticulous patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize instruments and ensure a spotless, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (VA)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
• Ability to work FMLA/LOA coverage assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental instruments, X-ray equipment, and sterilization protocols
• Knowledge of dental software for charting and patient records
• Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
