Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional preventive dental care, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Capture high-quality dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Provide personalized oral hygiene education to help patients maintain healthy smiles
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth
• Collaborate with the dentist to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
• Maintain a sterile and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with dental software and digital x-rays
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Patient education and communication skills
• Radiographic interpretation
• Time management and organization
• Empathy and a friendly chair-side manner
