Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and scaling to promote oral health
• Assess patients' oral hygiene and provide personalized education on preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
• Document patient care accurately and maintain strict infection control standards
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Massachusetts
• Current CPR certification required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Education

• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Knowledge of oral health assessment and treatment planning
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care
