Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dental hygiene care, including patient assessments, cleanings, and periodontal therapy, to help every patient leave with a brighter smile
• Collaborate with our dentists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize patient comfort and oral health
• Educate patients on preventive care and oral hygiene techniques, building lasting relationships and promoting healthy habits
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision, assisting in accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment by following strict infection control and sterilization protocols
• Document patient care accurately and contribute to a smooth, efficient workflow for the entire dental team

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience in dental hygiene is preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Availability to work 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Proficiency with dental X-ray equipment and digital imaging
• Knowledge of infection control and OSHA standards
• Ability to educate and motivate patients on oral health
• Familiarity with electronic dental health records (EHR) is a plus
