Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and oral health assessments
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient treatments and update dental records accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Virginia
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with dental software and digital charting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in dental radiography and safety protocols
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control standards
• Skilled in patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Comfortable using electronic health records and dental software
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with patients
