Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform cleanings, polishings, and preventive treatments with precision and care
• Take and process dental X-rays to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
• Collaborate with dentists and staff to deliver comprehensive oral health services

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, quality care
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization standards
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Excellent documentation and patient education abilities
• Strong attention to detail and clinical efficiency
