Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep smiles bright and healthy
• Take and process dental x-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, upholding the highest infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• New graduates encouraged to apply; no prior experience required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental anatomy and periodontal disease
• Proficient in dental radiography and digital imaging
• Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
