Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver top-notch dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring comfort and trust
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care
- Perform thorough cleanings and exams, identifying potential issues early
- Take and analyze dental x-rays to assist in diagnosis
- Document patient histories and treatment plans with accuracy
- Partner with the dental team to create a welcoming, efficient office environment
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin (or compact eligibility)
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills in adult and pediatric dentistry
- Excellent communication and patient rapport-building skills
- Experience with dental software and digital charting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control
- Skill in dental radiography and safety protocols
- Knowledge of oral pathology and patient assessment
- Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene and prevention
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
