Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care, including cleanings and scale and polish procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
- Document patient dental history and treatment plans accurately
- Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth workflow
- Maintain a sterile and organized workspace following infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Wisconsin (or compact/reciprocity)
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with dental software and digital x-ray systems is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
- Skilled in patient assessment, oral health screening, and preventive care
- Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment safely
- Excellent infection control and sterilization techniques
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
