Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle, thorough dental cleanings and preventive care
• Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings
• Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and at-home care techniques
• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort at every step
• Maintain a sterile, organized environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Genuine passion for patient education and preventive dentistry
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced practice

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental hygiene techniques and instruments
• Experience with dental radiographs and imaging software
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with patients
