Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately, reporting notable changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls and promote independence
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
• Support a positive patient experience by offering respectful, person-centered communication
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — active or eligible for quick state reciprocity
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfortable with lifting/transferring patients and performing physically active care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Flexible, dependable, and ready to thrive in a travel/contract setting

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene and ADL support delivered with dignity
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Basic infection control and wound care awareness
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Charting in electronic or paper medical records
• Effective teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment
• Time management to handle scheduled tasks and unexpected needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and de-escalation skills
