Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities for residents
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and personal hygiene needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Pass background checks and facility onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care practices and safety protocols
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
• Patience, compassion, and empathy when working with elderly residents
